My 2 dogs became very ill and died almost simultaneously. I believe they may have ingested something toxic that the neighbour threw in my yard. One dog became extremely weak, had a blood transfusion but did not improve as her liver gave out. Her skin turned very yellow and she was unable to move herself. The other dog started bleeding profusely , became extremely weak and had to be put down.

Somebody must have been real sick of listening to those things bark! That sounds like two completely different poisons – if they were poisons.

I have a dog that we got dehydrated and full of fleas. We bathed her and de wormed her and lots of food and water and love. Oh and ac. She will be tested aug 13 but wondering till then. She is very active and happy but dis colored fur which i know is a sign and rapid breathing in sleep.

Discolored fur is not a symptom of heartworms. The first symptoms seen tends to be exercise intolerance (can’t exercise as much),progressing to coughing, labored breathing, distended abdomen in advanced cases…

As a stray, you don’t know if she has been on any preventative or not so there is of course a risk that she has heartworms.

She’s not eating much food and she’s just laying around not as hyper as usual. She isn’t wanting to eat her dog food. Is this to early to show symptoms? She tied like 6 times but iit was with a 5 month old dog and I don’t want her to be pregnant.
I know she won’t show but would she go off her food? I can’t spay her she’s ACK and has titles. I can’t mention this to my breed mentor she’ll wring my neck
She bred all through Easter weekend

Spaying would answer that question. If you didnt want her to have puppies how did she tie 6 times? It isnt too late to alter. Most dogs do not show this early.

Does my dog have lice or flees if so the my other 2 dogs would have symptoms by now.
what is wrong with my dog and how do I help it?

It could be an allergy, mites, Alopecia (caused by low immunity) Mange, Demodectic mange, lice, ringworm

Some breeds can also suffer from inherited problems, such as the Dachshunds;
Self-licking in dogs results in hair loss, its caused by anxiety, boredom, stress;
Adrenal sex hormone responsive dermatosis
Hypothyroidism caused by hormonal Imbalance
Cushing’s Disease causes alopecia

And these are just the ones I can think of, so make an appointment to see your vet, it may be contagious and you don’t want it to spread.

Any abnormal neurological sign can indicate rabies. The first signs can be very subtle changes in behavior.

I have allergies to most dogs!!! Can you help me so I can get a dog???????

"Some breeds are known to be less allergy inducing or are even referred to as non-allergenic dogs. Unfortunately, non-allergenic dogs do not exist because the allergen is the protein that is produced by all breeds. Nevertheless, breeds that do not shed may cause fewer allergy symptoms. The protein still makes its way into the atmosphere but at a decreased level.
Breeds recommended by the American Kennel Club for allergy sufferers. Bichon Frise, Bedington Terrier, Chinese Crested, Irish Water Spaniel, Kerry Blue Terrier, Maltese, Poodles, Portuguese Water Dog, Schnauzer, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.

My friend’s daughtwer seems to have either acclimatised or got over her allergies somehow as she now has 2 border collies. No problems except for their mischief.

You have clearly looked a symptoms associated with diebetes, so you need to go and get her tested…take with you a sample of her urine ( morning urine and no more than 6 hours old when you see the vet) this should show, if not then it will be a blood test…but the sooner you test the better and it doesn’t always mean they need to be on medication……………………………

We treated two other dogs and one of them had convulsions. He gave them a shot to counteract any poison in their symptoms.

You could’ve asked the vet, and still should. But common symptoms are vomiting, convulsions, and death; and I say common b/c it usually takes an autopsy to determine the cause.
