What are some small dog breeds/ good names for small dogs?

I’m interested in buying a pomeranian, it’s small and fluffy, which is my ideal dog.
I would like to know some other small and fluffy dog breeds, also I need some names as I will be getting one soon!

Long haired chihuahua’s are small and fluffy – I have three, pokie, bandit and lil girl. You could call the puppy minnie or precious also :)

On a different note, and please don’t take offense to this – if you are "buying" a puppy from a pet store you are buying a puppymill dog. Please consider putting the word in to local shelters that you are interested in small puppies/dogs and they will call you when they come in. You would be saving a dogs life by doing this. There are also breed specific rescue sites online where you may find some puppies. If you insist on buying a puppy, please make sure that it is a reputable breeder. Supporting puppymills is against everything I believe in and I hope you will make the right decision. Good luck with your new puppy!

    I saw a Chinese Crested at my shelter once. With one eye. She was cute.

  4. west highland terrier. They are small and cute and white, with very alert, friendly faces. just keep them indoors, as they have a tendency to dig.Um, papillions, also called butterfly dogs, because of their large, elegant ears, also have bright, alert faces. They were bred as royal lapdogs in italy, and so looooove a good cuddle. King charles cavalier spaniel. Expensive, and grooming is a bit of a chore with those spaniel ears, but I love them for their upturned, wide faces and large eyes. Those are my favorite small breeds for cuddling. For guarding, you want a miniature schnauser, or miniature pinscher. Now….names..Bubba, rex, max/maxine, fang, snapper, tinyy, tootsie, luckie, ripper, fluffy, fuzz, lady, bug/bugger/buggaboo, chance.
