I can’t seem to find any AKC bull Terrier puppies for sale in TN?

I’ve been looking for about three months and am getting frustrated i want a male AKC registered bull terrier for under $1000.00 not a dirt cheap one just a more reasonably priced one. Email or answer if you know any good dog websites that sale puppies thanks!
Are they a restricted breed in TN? It’s possible they fall under a BSL, just because they are a "bully breed." If so, it could be harder to find one!
edit: I don’t know how good they are, but,….

edit again: I’m not suggesting they should be restricted, mr. or mrs. thumbs down! It was just a thought. I know they fall under BSL in some areas. Geez.

I don’t really know of ANY websites that sell good puppies. Sites like Craigslist, Kijiji, etc… all have puppy ads, but I wouldn’t recommend them if you want a well bred, and over all sound and stable dog. Try going to the AKC’s websites and looking up the Bull Terrier breed. You can look up breeders from there. That would be about my best suggestion.

Adopting versus buying
Adopting a pet from a local animal shelter or rescue organization is a most fulfilling experience. It is one of those stand-still moments that remains etched in your memory forever. That pleading get-me-out-of-here face you can’t resist. And the feel-good emotions you wear out the door – after all, you just saved a life.
Let’s face it, animal shelters aren’t the most upbeat places in the world. When you leave, you wish you could take more animals with you.
Adopting a pet is most often consummated on emotion. Love at first sight. Your heart is ahead of your head, recognizing that shelter animals’ time clocks tick for only a short time.
