Is eating hot-dogs a risk to your health?

I always order hot-dogs at the local lounge and my friend told me they are dangerous to your health because blah blah blah… What does it harm and should I stop eating hot-dogs. I’m not fat and I’m trying to gain a little weight so I’m not skinny but my metabolism is too god damn high for me to even gain a pound. Why are hot-dogs a risk to your health, or are they?

I worked and made hot dogs in a factory for 12 years. They do have a lot of salt, but a few hot dogs a week won’t hurt you! Like everything else MODERATION! I recommend ONLY all BEEF hot dogs, it’s all I will eat, TRUST ME!

Hot dogs are gross. Some have pigs anus in them. EWWWWWWWW! Plus the pigs used for hot dogs are often abused because pigs that have a high stress level make better hot dog meat. I’m not a vegetarian or anything but I don’t like eating meat unless its cruelty free. I personally think anything made from an anus is bad for your health.

Yes they are packed in sodium. They aren’t the best thing to eat, but I don’t think eating a hot dog once in a while will harm you.

If you get them a lot, I would suggest just to eat light/low sodium the rest of the day.
