Are Maltese dogs good with other dogs?

Do Maltese dogs have territorial problems when a new dog comes in the house? My friend has a 5-year old Maltese dog and she is thinking of getting another dog, particularly another breed, Lab is the first on her list and Shih Tzu is the second. Do you think the Maltese will like the idea of a new playmate?

Yes, they are..
Malteses were usually playful, lively and protective. So, it would likely be like what you want.
My friend also had one and when she brought a new dog, they liked each other.

Yes, I think Maltese dogs are good with other dogs since they are generally friendly with other dogs or animals, as far as I know.
