Is it possible to move our pet dogs from Malaysia to USA?

June 24, 2010 - 6:23 am 1 Comment

Is it possible to bring pets into the US coz I wanna join my fiance, he loves my dogs, they are old dogs & nobody wants 2 take care of them when I’m gone. I wish I can take them w/ me. They are 3 Dalmatians, ages from 6 to 8, certified, microchipped w/ good medicals.

Yes, but you’ll need complete physical exams for them from a licensed veterinarian, immunization records and a health certificate for each one.

The US embassy in Kula Lampur can fill you in on all the details.

Are you a Top Dog?

Judys Top Dogs are companies and individuals who love pets as much as we do and support our private, nonbreed
specific rescue and adoption efforts through their generous donation of $5,000 or more. They know
about the thousands of animals in our local community that desperately need humans to help them find happy,
healthy and loving homes.
Top Dog Sponsors also know its good for business. Many pet lovers seek out the services of companies who
respond to the needs of homeless animals to do business with. With exposure on our website (25,000) plus hits
per month, prominent display of Top Dog status in our new adoption center and the ability to put your
information in the hands of every family that adopts from us (in excess of 1,500 per year), sponsors are insured
their contribution will pay off in more than just goodwill. And we think goodwill is great too.
Sponsor a Kennel . . . Help us Save Lives

Pet Rescue By Judy has found a permanent home but we dont have enough money for all the
kennels we need. Lets help each other. With your $2,000 sponsorship we will place a plaque with the name of your choice on a kennel in our new 4,000 square foot adoption center in Sanford. You pick the name! It can be company, a child, family name, individual or pet name. PLUS we will provide you, your company or your designee, exposure on our website which gets over 25,000 hits
per month!

Everybody wins! You get exposure to all the pet lovers in Central Florida, we get the kennels we need to complete our canine kennels and the animals get a clean, safe, sanitary, temporary home
while they are looking for their forever homes

Just accept the cultural difference?

I’d just accept it. Different cultures eat different things and ours is a multiculturalist society after all. Besides, there’s lot of different countries that make up the Pacific Islands, and I doubt this is a common custom for most of them.

That said, buying/eating an animal from a butcher or grocery store is one thing–but eating something they’ve raised?? Seems a little unusual unless you live on a ranch, in a trailer or a cave.
