Can dogs get sick from when your sick?

If your sick( sore throat, normal sicknesses) can you spread your sickness to your dog? … And when a dogs sick how do they get better with no medicines and stuff or are you meant 2 give them medicines?

No.Your dog will not catch your cold or virus nor will you get his. I forget exactly but the normal body temp.of humans and dogs is about 4 degrees different, dogs being warmer. Germs and virus’s that thrive in one can not survive in the other.
It seems dogs seldom get sick for no apparent reason but if you have reason to believe your dog is sick, the vet is always your best bet.

  2. No. You can not catch a cold from your dog or transfer a cold to your dog. If your dog is sick you go to the vet. Duh.

  3. Aduial, you are absolutley WRONG… have you ever heard of zoonosis you dumb f***? YES you can. it does depend on what kind of illness you or your dog has, but I know for sure you can pass colds, strep and the flu back and forth. it has happened to me and I have caught strep from working with sick animals.
