Can dogs make you feel better when you feel sick?

I have a spaniel and I’m currently sick. She’s laying with me right now because I heard that when you’re sick, dogs help make you feel better. Is this true?

the comfort they give you when your sick can maybe make you feel better.my dog will always be by my side while im sick, she doesnt give me a choice.

They’re not like medicine or anything- but there love and affection does help make you feel better(:

I don’t think that they make the sickness go away, but it can make you feel happy because he is keeping you company.

isn’t it crazy how they just know? i have a jack russel who’s INSANE – the minute i’m sick and feel like poop she stops being a spaz and cuddles up with me all day – they’re the best!

its a pshycological thing.
They dont actualy make you but they make you feel better.
As ur mind gets diverted!
U should more time with your dog as it makes u feel good!
