How do dogs not get sick from the stuff that are in their food?

By products specifically..Maggots,dogs,cats,brains,feet,etc..
I’ve never seen a dog get sick from eating dog food,only allergies and stuff.

Anyway,that’s what the by products have..A bunch of bad stuff.
Some of these may cause sickness:
A. Salmonella bacteria
B. If there in insects in their food such as those carrying bacteria, germs, and insecticides.

…dog food contains none of those things, I assume the list is the ingredients you’re alleging are in the food?
Though the crap they DO throw in probably takes it’s toll on the animal’s overall health slowly, its nowhere nearly as bad as the things they toss into our food.

They do not put maggots into dog food, that only comes from places like Pet Co letting the dog food go way past the expiration date sit on their shelves and then when people get it home and open it, bam, maggots, bugs, and the food has gone bad.

and the other ingredients you listed as well, are not in dog foods.
some dog foods have junk in them, as wheat, corn, barley, meal
that is what is so bad for dogs…and yes some by products as well, but sorry, your listing of products is not among them…
you want bad and want to get sick watching the things they put in hamburger meat, wieners and such, go to a meat packing company, you will change your mind on how you eat as well.
but for the most part, the ingredients do not find their way into dog food, our processed foods are worse on us humans by far.

Iggy – what do you think those unnamed meat and bone meal sources are on some pet food labels? The use of rendered 4D animals(dead, diseased, drugged, and downed) in pet food is technically still allowed. There is no current rule in place stating these animals which can include PETS, cannot be rendered and processed for animal and pet feed.
To the OP – animal can and do get sick from eating certain brands of pet food. You just don’t hear about it until the numbers are VERY high and more than a few animals have died.

By-products are specifically regulated, and are ‘rendered’ which means cooked to a mush, which destroys vitamins so much that’s why the chemical names are at the last half of the ingredient lists, they have to add them back in.
They did tests checking for pet (dog and cat) DNA in pet foods and did not locate any—though they did find euthenasia chemicals from the cows and horses that were used as the main meat sources. A lot of myth is floating around what’s in pet foods, but it’s a regulated industry, they’re only allowed to have certain things in it.
The FDA regulates the industry. Specifically the AAFCO. When looking for information online use the VET SITES or the FDA or AAFCO sites, those are the accurate ones.

The AAFCO interpretes by-products as such—
By-products are defined by AAFCO as "secondary products produced in addition to the primary products". For poultry and meats, this includes a wide range of material some of which is more nutritious than others. Meat by-products may contain lungs, spleen, livers, kidneys, blood, bone, stomachs and intestines. Meat by-products may NOT contain hair, horns or hooves. Similarly, poultry by-products may contain heads, feet and viscera, but NOT feathers.
